Retiring Ceremonies
The

States
Flag
Code specifies that the Flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer
a fitting emblem for display, should be retired in a dignified manner as
directed by the Flag Code.
BSA
Cub Scout Pack 124 is collecting these flags on a regular basis, no matter how
large or small they are. Then
periodically throughout the year, the scouts will retire them in a proper and
respectful ceremony (see the calendar for more
information).
Please
drop off your old
U.S.flags at
this
collection point during normal operating hours:
Andover
Transfer Station,
Shoddy
Mill Road, Andover CT
